MSU Children's Health Initiative

Greetings, Spartan friends!

We extend this personal invitation to you to join us today in support of the MSU Children’s Health Initiative – champions for exceptional and accessible pediatric care for mid-Michigan children, and MSU’s first and only dedicated children’s charity.

Specialized pediatric care in mid-Michigan is in short supply. Children of mid-Michigan, when faced with chronic, life-threatening illnesses, must often go to Detroit, Ann Arbor or Grand Rapids for the care they need.

As a parent, I know firsthand how important it is to have access to a diverse range of pediatric services. All too often, parents have to leave our community just so their children can get the specialized treatment they need. MSU CHI will have it all under one room right here in the Lansing area, from specialized care and research to follow-up treatment, nutrition and much more.

To meet our goal, we’re bringing health care and hoops together! Every time the Spartan Women’s Basketball Team makes a three-point shot, money you pledge will go directly to the MSU Children’s Health Initiative – and to a stronger healthier future for our kids.

Total specialty outpatient care for kids under one roof. We can get there. You can help! Take the 3-point Challenge now. When you play and our Spartans score, kids win.
